School Resource Officer Division

Duplin County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officers (SROs) patrol all 13 school campuses belonging to the Duplin County School System. While on campus, SROs are responsible for enforcing state and local laws as well as instructing students, faculty, staff, and the public on these laws when appropriate.  SROs provide security during school hours and at special school events on campus, i.e., athletic events, dances, assemblies, etc.
